Thoroughly Modern Pendant Note Card...

If you want a quick note with lots of class, I suggest buying Stampin' Up!'s Pendant Note Cards. They come in a pack of 15 Kraft notecards already laser diecut with Kraft envelopes.

First I stamped the En Francais background in Basic Brown and sponged around the front of the card. Then I added a 4" square piece of Thoroughly Modern designer paper inside the front of the card and punched a hole for the Real Red epoxy brad.

To finish the card I knotted some Real Red Polka-Dotted ribbon and added a little tag using the Tiny Tags stamp set and the Medium Jewelry Tag punch. It's attached with linen thread.

Picnic Parade penny spinner card...

I love all the critters in the Level 2 hostess set Picnic Parade (Occasions Mini).

This Whisper White card features a 2-1/2" piece of paper from the Sweet Pea pad. I adhered the paper first, then used the Word Window punch to make the track for the penny spinner.

The mechanism is a penny with two dimensionals and another penny piled just like that. I adhered the 1-3/8" Old Olive circle to another dimensional that was adhered to the outside of one penny.

Stamp and color to your heart's content and you'll get a fun card anyone would love to receive!

Pearl's fabulous Easter bucket...

This 3d project was a WOW! when we all saw it at our last American Ink gathering.

My friend and downline, Pearl, made this 3d item for a contest I hosted. She won hands-down!

I'm holding another 3d Contest for our next American Ink gathering on April 10, as a reminder.

Punched Easter Bunny Party Favor Box...

This was the fifth and final project at my recent Easter Stamp Camp. It uses the Party Favor Box die for the Big Shot, as well as a variety of hand punches

The Party Favor Box is So Saffron, with a 2-1/2" x 12" piece of Tea Party dsp around it. A 1" strip of the same paper was used as the handle, with rhinestone brads holding it in place.

The bunny's head and body are 1-3/4" circles, the cheeks are 3/4" circles, the eyes are 1/4" circles (with highlights added with the Unibal white gel pen), and the ears and feet are small Pretty in Pink ovals on Whisper White oval scallops. The toes are 1/8" circles.

All of the pieces were sponged with Pretty in Pink ink. And the bunny's nose is a brad. I saw on another blog the addition of eyelashes and claws with a black marker, so I borrowed that look. (Thanks!)

The flower and leaves on the bunny's ear are from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit, you just punch them out with your fingers! We added a Soft Subtle brad and adhered it with a mini glue dot.

I added a knot of 1/4" Bashful Blue grosgrain, and stuck the bunny to the handle and basket with dimensionals.

Sunny Days Simply Scrappin' card purse...

One of the projects at my Easter Stamp Camp was a card purse made with the Sunny Days Simply Scrappin' Kit.

I made two sizes - one used a 6" x 12" piece of textured card stock, scored at4-3/4" and 9-1/2" and fits notecards or love notes and envelopes - the other fits regular sized cards and measures 6-1/2" x 12" and scored the same as the other.

We used the self-adhesive diecuts to embellish as desired. I photographed three different card purses so you can see the variety.

We used Sticky Strip in a U shape on the middle and bottom panels to make the pockets. The closure is a simple Velcro button.

This kind of project makes a great gift for anybody! There were enough supplies leftover to make cards to coordinate with the card purse.

A punchy Easter card...

Punches are fun and easy to use when making cards, no matter the holiday. This is the first of three cards we're making today at my Easter Stamp Camp.

This Chocolate Chip card, CASE'd from Tammy Shaia, uses the Designer Label Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, and Extra Large Two-Step Bird Punch (found in the Occasions Mini).

It also uses the Sweet Pea pad of paper and Eggcoutrements stamp set, also both in the mini catalog.

I used Taken with Teal for the bird, and an Old Olive ink pad.

Chocolate Bunny Easter card...

This is another card from today's Easter Stamp Camp. It uses the Chocolate Bunny stamp in the back of the Occasions Mini, along with a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

The card is Chocolate Chip card stock, with some Soft Suede patterned paper on top. I saw the original idea at www.stampingtoshare.blogspot.com.

I used Very Vanilla with Basic Brown ink for the bunny and "Happy Easter." I cut 3/4" from the right of the card before using the Scallop Trim Border Punch.

Eggstra special easter wishes...

This is the third card we're making today at my Easter Stamp Camp.

It's a Whisper White card with Pixie Pink, Green Galore and Basic Black card stocks. The Pixie Pink was run through the Big Shot in the Polka Dots embossing folder. I paper pierced the left side of the Green Galore card stock, and added some white satin ribbon.

The bunny stamp is from the Eight Great Greetings stamp set, and the sentiment is from Loads of Love Accessories. I used Pixie Pink and Green Galore markers to color the images, punched them out with the 1-1/4" circle punch, layered them on 1-3/8" Green Galore circles, then adhered them to the Pixie Pink layer with dimensionals.

This card was CASE'd from here.

Dazzling Medallion birthday card

I love the Pale Plum and Perfect Plum colors in this card.

It uses the single Medallion stamp, as well as Vintage Labels.

This was a stamp-a-stack card at my latest event. The birthday greeting layer has 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter and is adhered with dimensionals.
At the bottom right of the card is a small oval punched from Perfect Plum card stock with a clear rhinestone inserted through it.

Vintage Label triangle tri-fold card...

I'm always looking for new ways of putting a card together, and found one similar to this on my friend Dawn's blog.

I used textured 12" x 12" Rich Razzleberry paper for the 4" x 12" card, which is scored at 4" and 8".

This gorgeous designer paper is from the Level 3 hostess Lovely Flowers bundle. I used two pieces measuring 3-3/8" each. One of those pieces is cut from one corner to another. When you lay the card out flat, just fold the top left corner to the bottom of the first 4" score line. Then fold the bottom right corner of the card to the top of the 8" score line. Adhere the designer paper and embellish as you wish.

I love Melon Mambo with Rich Razzleberry. The colors play well off each other.

The butterflies were embossed and cut at the same time with the Beautiful Wings embosslit die for the Big Shot (love it!). I adhered them with dimensionals.

The other stamp set used with this is Vintage Labels, a favorite of my customers, and FREE with a $50 purchase thru the end of this month.

Punches I used include: Scallop Circle, Scallop Trim Border, Large Oval, Oval Scallop, and 1" Circle.

Thoroughly Modern Birthday Bliss card...

This Bermuda Bay card was another of my recent stamp-a-stack projects.

I used a 5 1/2" x 2" piece of paper from the Thoroughly Modern pack on the bottom front, tying a knot of White Organza Ribbon above it.

I earned the Birthday Bliss stamp set FREE (you can too with a $50 purchase, contact me today!). I stamped this image twice - once in Rose Red, and a second time in Bermuda Bay, cutting out just the words and adhering them with dimensionals.

I used the Wide Oval Punch on the Rose Red image. It's adhered to the card with dimensionals, as well.

All Holidays Sweet Pea card...

I'm digging the new flat punches. I used the Big Flower Punch with paper from the Sweet Pea dsp pack for this card. I punched a 1" Rose Red circle and added a white jumbo brad for the flower. It's adhered with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the All Holidays stamp set. It's one of my favorite word stamps. It's stamped in Taken With Teal ink on the Sweet Pea paper, which is layered on Taken With Teal card stock with a Rose Red strip that's been punched with the Eyelet Border Punch.

This was one of the cards at my last stamp-a-stack event.

Extra Large Two-Step Bird Easter card...

I love the beautiful paper in the Bella Bleu designer series paper pack. I used that as a focal point, adding stripes of Brocade Blue card stock punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch (a FREE Sale-a-Bration item thru March 31 with a $50 purchase).

I punched out the Extra Large Two-Step Bird from Brocade Blue card stock, the wing from the designer paper and the branch from Old Olive card stock scraps.

The sentiment is from the All Holidays stamp set.

To finish the card, I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere two half-pearls from the Pretties Kit.

Eggcoutrements Easter card...

Never overlook the mini catalogs for inspiration. I CASE'd this card from page 22 of the Occasions Mini.

The card is Bashful Blue card stock, the long scalloped stamp from Eggcoutrements was inked with Certainly Celery and cut out by hand. A strip of Pretty in Pink is below that, with striped Bashful Blue ribbon at the bottom.

There's a Whisper White Wide Oval with the Easter stamp inked in More Mustard and punched with the Designer Label punch.

The cute flower is one from the Three Flower Punch, with a So Saffron brad in the middle. The leaves are two petals from a flower in the Boho Blossoms Punch.

Fox & Friends sugary birthday card

I made this sparkly card for a friend. The requirements: Animals and lots of bling, including glitter.

So this is the card I created. It's Pretty in Pink, with a scalloped edge that has rhinestones from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit in the Occasions Mini.

There's some Sending Love specialty paper on the left, with a knot of Pretty in Pink satin ribbon, distressed layers with the sentiment from Everything Nice that has Dazzling Diamonds glitter on "Sugar" and a Chocolate Chip epoxy brad.
I added paper piercing for more texture, as well as more glitter on the monkeys' bellies.

Sweetheart birthday card...

This Sweetheart stamp set isn't just for Valentine's! Kim did this card as a recent stamp club project.

It's a 3" x 6" Real Red card with a Whisper White layer that's been spiral punched and stamped. There's added dimension with the Full Heart punch (the happy birthday sentiment is from Well Scripted in the Occasions Mini).

The little bird was colored with markers and cut out.

Good Neighbors card...

Kim used two free Sale-a-Bration items to create this cute card. It uses the Good Neighbors stamp set, as well as the 6" Welcome Neighbor pad of paper that coordinates great with that set.

You can get each item FREE thru March 31 with every $50 purchase you make.

The sentiment is from the Welcome Home stamp set in the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog. I love the addition of the little Chocolate Chip epoxy brad!

Michelle's Asian Artistry make & take...

I like the soft colors in this Asian Artistry card.

One of my downline, Michelle, couldn't make our last American Ink gathering, but gave her make & take to Kim to bring anyway. How great is she?

We stamped the floral branch in Basic Brown and colored it in with ink pads and an aqua painter. I like the idea of using the aqua painter to make a border - it really looked like an extra layer when it wasn't!

I knotted the Certainly Celery grosgrain and added the Wide Oval punched sentiment to finish the card.

Kim's Big Flower Punch make & take...

I love using punches to make cards. It's so easy and fun!

Kim had us start with a Very Vanilla card. We used the Tiny Tags stamp set (Occasions Mini) to stamp the foliage images in Mellow Moss for under the punched flower, which was punched out of the Sending Love speciality paper.

More foliage was stamped in Pretty in Pink for the Wide Oval sentiment, which is adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Bea's Asian Artistry make & take...

Bea's gotten a lot of use out of the Level 2 hostess set Asian Artistry. She brought this make & take to our last demo gathering.

It's a Ruby Red card with a few black stripes (from a retired background stamp), a sentiment from Define Your Life, and a flower stamp that we colored in with markers, tore, and then sponged around.

A knot of 1/4" black grosgrain completes the card.

Pearl's Garden from the Heart make & take...

We stamp all kinds of great make & takes at our American Ink gatherings, and this one created by my downline Pearl is no exception.

It's a Whisper White card with a Rich Razzleberry layer on top that's been run through the Polka Dots embossing folder. We tied a knot of Rich Razzleberry ribbon around the bottom, then stamped the herbs from Garden from the Heart, colored them in with markers and layered them on Old Olive.

We punched 1/16" holes on either side of the herbs to insert Natural Hemp. To keep the hemp on the line, we used a liquid adhesive. It took only a few seconds of holding it in place to keep it there.

Recognize the sentiment? You can get this FREE (Vintage Labels) with your $50+ order. Contact me today to place your order!

Love Bug and Tiny Tags swaps...

Here are two more swaps from our recent American Ink gathering.

The first uses the Level 1 hostess set Love Bug; the second uses Tiny Tags (Occasions Mini) and the FREE Sale-a-Bration stamp set Whimsical Words.

Bea's Asian Artistry card swap...

Bea brought this pretty Asian Artistry swap to our American Ink gathering.

Sometimes the simplest thing - such as cutting the main image in three as shown here - becomes so striking.

I also like the torn Mellow Moss card stock behind the main image, the black strip and the background.
